The engineering and design to make quality inflatables that are not only fun, but most of all safe requires great attention to detail and a whole team of professionals with specialized skills. So lets get into it…What does it take to put the bounce in a bounce house? Creating a bounce house for sale that not is top quality, ready for every day commercial use and affordable takes several steps.
Step One: Design. If you have been to a child's birthday party recently you probably have seen a bounce house or some type of inflatable. Why do kids love bounce houses? Since the beginning of time kids have loved jumping up and down; but bounce houses, or jump houses as some call them did not get off the ground until the 1960s. The first inflatable bounce house for salewas designed in 1959. John Scurlock from Shreveport, Louisiana who had done experimentation with inflatable swathes for tennis courts noticed how his workers enjoyed jumping with the inflatable covers. As a mechanical engineer, he soon designed and manufactured some inflatable tents, domes and signs. These evolved into inflatable tents that had walls and soon began to catch on for childrens birthday parties. Today, with the introduction of Computer Aided Design or CAD, the variety of jumpers offered today is huge and only limited to human imagination. A designer to come up with an idea for what he wants the inflatable too look like. He will start with a simple shape designed with a 3D Computer Aided Drawing System. The next step is to break down each simple shape within the 3-D drawing and have the computer program flatten it out so that it can be sent to a pattern cutter, the exact shape that has been created in the 3-D system is then broken down into several smaller flat pieces and the pattern cutter is able to duplicate the exact same shape as the one creating on the computer.
Step 2: Cutting the Pattern The Designer sends his bounce house for sale design to a computer aided pattern cutter. The pattern cutter operator then rolls out vinyl on the table for the pattern cutter: it is a computer guided circular razor. After the machine finishes cutting each piece the pattern cutter will go over and pick up each piece off of the cutting table and number them for a sewer to place together. One of the biggest challenges with designing the first bounce house for salewas finding a material that could withstand kids jumping all day long, with various impacts in all directions. Turns out that plastic is the perfect material for this job. But not just any plastic will do; the best kind is vinyl. Bounce Time Inflatables uses the best quality commercial grade 18 oz vinyl on every bounce house for sale that we offer , doubled weaved lead free and made to the highest possible standards. This ensures that each bounce house for sale is not only durable but safe for regular use.
Step 3: Sew and assemble. The third step to making a bounce house for sale involves taking all those pieces cut apart by the pattern cutter and sewing them together in a way that makes sense and will provide a durable, safe jumping environment for children. Each piece of vinyl is pushed through industrial grade sewing machines by hand to ensure the bouncer is put together exactly as it was designed. All of our seams features double and quadruple commercial grade stitching on our lead free 18 oz vinyl.
